GSI Group, LLC, hosted a Chinese swine study team for an afternoon tour of the plant in June 2011. GSI manufactures grain and protein systems, and many of the team members already use GSI equipment in China. The visit provided an opportunity to see the high standards GSI uses to create a product that is a step above the competition's. After the team was finished, they headed to Quincy for the evening. They also will visit ADM and Illinois soybean leader Phil Bradshaw’s swine farm near Griggsville before attending a two-day swine educational seminar at the University of Illinois.
